Africa

 

One of the most adventures I ever went on was a 6 week trip to Africa.  I have dear friends who live in Lake Navaisha and thought it would be a great Christmas/New Years (1998-1999) trip.  I was MORE than right.  I will never forget.

Some highlights include getting to pet Cheetahs – note to self – these was NOT a scheduled tour nor were they tamed.  I have a friend Junie Zwager who owns a game reserve and I am profoundly lucky that I didn’t get hurt that day.  I was just mesmerized by the giant and gently cats and took a chance.  I DO NOT recommend it. 🙂
