Thanksgiving is a wonderful time - but only if you have friends family and budget -- for so many it can be quite the troubling time from family to feeling loss to even struggling to have a meal. One of my most memorable Thanksgiving was spent dishing out meals for those less fortunate. think about everyone and always be grateful. It wasn't until 1863, when President Abraham Lincoln declared two national Thanksgivings; one in August to commemorate the Battle of Gettysburg and the other in November to give thanks for "general blessings." Protein Pancake #1
Protein Pancake #1 INGREDIENTS 1/4 cup raw oats 1/4 cup cottage cheese 1/2 scoop protein powder 1/2 cup egg whites DIRECTIONS Blend all the ingredients until a batter forms. Pour over a hot griddle. Flip when the edges start browning. Serve with a tablespoon of natural peanut butter and top with almonds.
Bell Pepper EGGtastic!
Are YOU ready for awesome taste and a unique way to make eggs a visual delight!! When cooked in a frying pan the bell pepper softens slightly and caramelizes. It adds a wonderful crunch to the soft and silky egg yolk Go Gourmet and the bell pepper eggs on top of a slice of avocado toast, and it’s healthy food heaven. Heat a medium-size skillet with a lid over medium-high heat. Spray liberally with cooking spray, or coat with oil. Add in the bell pepper slices, and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until the peppers begin to soften and brown slightly. Crack an egg into each bell pepper slice. Reduce the head to medium-low, cover, and cook the eggs until the desired yolk is achieved. Alternatively, instead of covering the pan, you can cook on one side for 2-3 minutes, then flip the eggs and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes or until done. Season with salt, pepper, and any other herbs and spices you’d like. Serve on their own or on top of toasted bread. For more creative food inspirations, check back regularly!

And the biggest misconception is that you are talking to the “audience” – in tv, the audience is just that one person listening, watching – even if its millions of that “one person”. And so a level on honesty, clarity and purpose must come across that tv screen. It certainly helps if you understand the art of the interview, conversation and the beauty of being able to listen and train a bit of improv so you have the ability to be quick on your feet. Barbara Lazaroff is a producer, writer, and published author, mother of two sons, celebrated philanthropist, humanitarian and entrepreneur. She is the co-founder, with Jordan Roberts, at FGI: Filmanthropic Group International, a studio that works with brands, causes and A-list talent to create mainstream film and media. To raise awareness about bullying, FGI hosted the "White Rabbit" release party screening and donated to various charities (2015). Barbara is a highly regarded restaurateur and member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
